I, Tonya

This film features some of the best acting performances of the 2019 year. With everyone portraying their roles perfectly to the real life people they play. With stand out performances by Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn), Sebastian Stan (Avengers, Winter soldier), and the real star of the show in Allison Janney (American Pie, Mom, The West Wing), this film is sure to leave you gripped in anticipation as you can’t help but laugh at the comedy of the situations that take place in this true life film about the famous ice skater, Tonya Harding, and her famous feud with Nancy Kerrigan. Put together like a documentary almost it’s very interesting to see how things played out and they report it very honestly, maybe even a little nicer and cleaner then some of the people really were, but true to the real life story. If your a fan of history or Biopics, this is one you will want to sit down for it’s entire 2 hour runtime and enjoy. The real star of the film is Allison Janney’s portrayal of the figure skaters mother. With lots of self destruction, drama, and eventual bitter ending this film attempts to tell the story through the eyes of some of the people involved. I would say it was one of the best movies put out last year and it’s a must watch. I give it a 9 out of 10.
